Hi there! I’m glad you’re here because I’m so excited to share this Dallas hairstylist team branding session. This shoot’s focus was limited to portraits. But, it still took a lot of careful planning to coordinate a photoshoot with this many people involved. In the end, this group of ladies was so fun to photograph. And overall, I love how this final gallery turned out!
Blondtourage, a Dallas salon specializing in blonding and hand-tied extensions, was co-founded by Mallory and Lauren. Lauren and Mallory are masters at what they do and have both been One Shot Hair Award finalists. Together, their team of hair stylists, balayage artists, and beauty experts deliver big. Indeed, these ladies help clients transform their hair with perfectly lived-in color and beautifully natural, hand-tied extensions.
For this session, the Blondtourage team’s needs were pretty simple. They needed up-to-date portraits and headshots of the whole team. Mallory and Lauren also wanted group photos with all nine stylists, group portraits with only the co-founders, and individual headshots for each team member. The plan was to use these branding photos for their soon-to-launch website. Additionally, Lauren and Mallory wanted to use these more uniform headshots to give Blondtourage’s Instagram profile a cohesive look.
I knew I’d need to think carefully about posing for the big group photos. So, during the planning call, I made sure I fully understood the vision for this session. Then, using my fully customizable Canva Brand Photographer’s Planning Template, we devised a detailed shoot day plan.

Ultimately, we selected Lumen Room’s Lifestyle studio in Fort Worth for this Dallas hairstylist team branding session. The space’s modern aesthetic and textural details worked perfectly with the Blondtourage brand. I prompted the ladies to have fun and interact with each other in the group photos, and we captured some great, relaxed moments of laughter between the posed shots.
Overall, I am so happy with how much variety there is in this gallery. I can’t wait to see what Mallory and Lauren do with their photos!
