Hi friends! I can’t wait to share this week’s featured session with you. This Dallas designer branding session had a little bit of all the brand photography staples. We captured some portraits, in-action shots, and even some fun, celebratory pictures. I especially love helping my clients celebrate business milestones and big announcements with a bit of confetti. So, sessions are always a little extra special when I get to photograph some moments of celebration.
Amy Switzer, owner of the Dallas-based design firm Amy Switzer Design, has worked in the design industry for over two decades. She has worked extensively in home textiles, home product design, and development. Eventually, her time working in the design world led her to her true passion, interior design. Amy now offers full-service interior design and creates spaces her clients love to live in. Overall, she excels at understanding her clients’ needs and flawlessly delivering their dream designs.
One of the reasons Amy booked me for this Dallas designer branding session was to create new web content. She planned to use the photos we captured for her website and social media marketing strategy. Also, Amy was about to celebrate a huge milestone: the first anniversary of Amy Switzer Design’s launch! So, using my brand photographer’s Canva planning template, we came up with a shot list for her session that included a few photos to celebrate her first year of business.

The location for Amy’s shoot was a home we found and rented on Peerspace. Overall, the colors and design details perfectly fit Amy’s brand. She brought design books, color samples, and textile swatches for her at-work scenes. Then, we wrapped up the shoot with some colorful confetti. To be sure, it was a privilege to help Amy celebrate her first year of business!
