If you haven’t figured it out by now than have you even looked at my instagram đ Yes, today we’re chatting all about hats! A personal favorite accessory of mine đ I LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea that a simple hat can make your look. I’m not a big jewelry person but give me a cute hat and I feel like I can take on the world! I’m constantly throwing on a hat to elevate my simple white t and distressed jeans “uniform”. There really is a hat for any occasion… going to the farmers market? Grab a straw hat! Going to a wedding? Grab a more structured hat. Date night or casual outing? Grab a floppy fedora and call it a day. You really can’t go wrong with a hat.
But what about personal branding photos? I mean given that’s my jam we couldn’t have a post about hats and not talk about this, could we? I didn’t think so… I’ll keep it simple and to the point. Yes, you need to bring a hat to your personal branding session. Even if you don’t think it’s your style, humor me and just give it a shot. If nothing else, you can always use the hat as a prop in some photos.
Now back to business… Here’s a round up of some of my favorite hats on the market. They are a little bit of a splurge but trust me they are a piece worth investing in AND most importantly a style classic enough to stand the test of time aka they will always be instyle.
